Truth Lists

There is a left and a right and somewhere in the middle lies the truth.  If you take away the lies, distortions, manipulations and the power that filters every aspect of dissemination of information, you'll find the truth often rests hidden somewhere far closer to the left. Since defenders of civil liberties, human rights, the environment, the rights of workers, Constitutional rights, freedom of speech, freedom from religious bigotry and intolerance, women's rights, animal rights, indigenous people's rights, as well as, government, corporate and media watchdog groups are all lumped together and arrogantly derided as being, "liberal" or "left", it is no real mystery, once you've seen through the cloud bank, that lies told again and again by servants of the corporations and the governments, shadow the truth.

A great many people get up every morning, look into the mirror and take pride in their "conservative" moniker. Take a look again at the list above and tell me, what groups are left to lump together as "conservative" and what have you realistically left to take pride in?  The only real "conservatives" are the ultra rich and powerful who use any and every means at their disposal (all network television, the bulk of AM radio, the military, the justice system, and every patriotic, feux-Christian, anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-welfare, pro-military, flag waving lie and diversion) to shroud the truth in order to sustain and build power.  It is extremely hard to discuss issues with a "conservative" because real truth always gets trampled and lost in "truthiness", but I have yet to find a real honest Joe "conservative" who can say that the rule of the neocons has made his own life better in any way.  How could they?  It is one thing to claim "conservativism" as some honorable, intelligent, morally correct and patriotic position, but it is quite another to peel back those warm layers and find that the reality is cold and has absolutely nothing to do with honest Joe. It is especially painful to peel enough away to find not a member of an exclusive club of "better thans", but simply a hood-winked tool of a very powerful group; one, in which, Joe will never belong.

We will discuss "conservative", "liberal", "Republican", "Democrat", history, religion, the state of the US, the state of the world and so on and, although the words and ideas here at TruthCourier.com may seem forceful or biased at times, we assure you it is not our mission to attack, but to enlighten.  Shining a bright light on truthiness can only help the human race.  If you're a voting member of the dark side, bring your sunglasses at first, but eventually, your eyes and heart will adjust.

Atheist.  Now, there's a moniker of much derision, but what does it mean?  Atheist - One who denies the existence of God.  As opposed to Theist - One who believes in the existence of a god or gods; especially, believes in a personal God as creator and ruler of the world. Agnostic -A thinker who disclaims any knowledge of God.  Agnosticism -Philosophy. The doctrines of the agnostics, holding that certainty, first or absolute truths, are unattainable, and that only perceptional phenomena are objects of exact knowledge.  Consider the fact that no man or women in the U.S. today can be elected President if they do not believe in heaven and hell.  Notice in the definition of agnostic that it begins with "a thinker" and then ask yourself why atheists are considered evil?  Take a look at the following truncated list of thinkers, who are unelectable because they don't believe, sight-unseen, in the myths and magic of Theism.

And the list goes on.  There are thousands of world leaders, scientists, philosophers, composers, artists, writers, entertainers, politicians, clergymen, doctors, philanthropists and so on, whose names are not so famous, but whose impact on humanity is undeniable.  And why is it again that we must persecute  and withhold basic human rights from them...oh yeah, because four times in the old testament it is mentioned.  The old testament was written by Jewish tribesman when the prevailing thought was that the earth was flat, the universe revolved around it, the tribes needed to grow and get this--there was no America.
Here is where we come to truth.  The truth is fundamentalist religion (Christian, Moslem and Jewish) is racked with bigotry and intolerance.  For the sake of your 'faith', please, please evolve.

And, believe it or not, I've left off hundreds of modern names--let's just say that the music, film, TV, art, literature, dance and  theater worlds are filled with further examples of individuals who use Cannabis to assist their creative drive, to medicate their bodies and to relax.
The TRUTH is that long term heroin use is not a good thing.  However, in the extensive , but shortened list of drug users above, very few died as a result of their drug use and absolutely none of them died as a result of Cannabis usage.  Alcohol, cigarettes and prescription addiction and misuse are the enemies of good health and the killers. Just ask Rush Limbaugh.
