Introducing Truth Courier

Truth Courier's mission is to try the best we can to tell the truth. We will cover modern politics for sure, but, we will also be talking in great length about the condition of man, the realities in history and hopefully the wise and true direction, we, the people of the United States and the world must head now. We will expose the lies and for that be labeled derisively as "leftist" and "liberal". Is the truth liberal? Is the light of day leftist? The truth is our government is nowhere close to being a democracy. The truth is our planet is hopelessly overpopulated and we're destroying the ecosystem and ourselves. The truth is that the irrational adherence to ancient myths, ideologies and superstitions that is practiced by the overwhelming majority of people on the earth continually stands in the way of enlightenment and answers for a planet in desperate need of absolute change. The truth is we're headed for catastrophe in so many ways and we need realization and action. The power elite and the machine of modern life will simply not acknowledge the problems. Professional liars; spokesmen, lawyers, TV 'journalists', politicians, corporate shills, partisan hacks and religious leaders will give you the packaged, processed and edited versions. However, distortions and omissions, are nothing less than lies. Join us. Expose, realize and act!

Dead-Eye Dick's Deferred Again (Feb. 20, 2006)

The Terminating Top Ten
In the following weeks and months I'll be addressing what I consider to be the top ten greatest threats to not only our eroding democracy, but to our (ALL men and women on the planet) continued existence on Earth. You will notice that the list does not contain race relations, reproductive rights, sexual inequality, animal rights, worker's rights, the insane 'drug war', the ridiculous 'war on terror', a pathetic health care system, the cult of George Bush, the persecution of homosexuals, the disintegrating national infrastructure, the decline of rational discourse, the end of the American empire, the shameful neglect of the American poor and on and on and on. These are all very important and it's a disgrace that in 2006 in 'the most advanced nation on the planet', we don't seriously address these issues because flag burning and fear mongering are on the top of the Repug (the rulers of every branch of government and the media) agenda. However, they are all moot points, if we do not completely correct at record speed, the terminating top ten. Other than the first two, that trump all else, they are in no particular order.

Look It Up and Prove Me Wrong
* The U.S. invasion of Iraq was completely sold on Lies

* 90% of the large species of fish in our oceans have been fished out just in the last 50 years
* The U.S. healthcare system is ranked 37 among the "civilized" nations of the earth
* 98% of Senators who run for reelection win--the rate in the old Soviet Union was 92%
* More people are incarcerated in U.S. prisons for non violent drug offenses than are incarcerated, for any reason, in all of Western Europe (which has a larger population)
* There is no proof outside of the bible that Jesus or Moses ever existed
